Well it seems to rain most days every week this summer.
Just wondering what condition the Southern Coos Trail is in at this point. Any one been hiking recently (late July/August) around Percy Peaks or futher up?
I want to climb Percy Peaks or Sugar loaf at some point this year. But I fear it might be mud mud mud.

DavidNH,
Northern NH is experiencing considerable flooding and even landslides. All trails throughout the entire region are soaking wet and streams are at very high levels, even dangerous levels. The crossing at Dry River should be very dangerous now. And the crossing on the branch of Clear Stream above the falls in Dixville Notch should be tough to cross without getting a good soaking.

Guess this isn't the year for doing this trail. Even if the sun does come out for several days this week, Percy's description suggests It's gonna take some time to make the trail dry enough to be hikeable! I am itching to get up to at least the Whites at some point! But highwater dangerous river crossings just aren't my cup of tea!
