Three of us made the trek up 'the easy route' lugging a chainsaw, weedwhacker and lopers on Saturday, July 12th to the junction of the Three Brothers Trail and the Mt. Gloriette Trail. We found the trails to be in amazingly good shape despite all of the rain we had last month. A few muddy spots on the Mt. Gloriette trail (from Table Rock to the Wilderness Ski Area) but nothing unpassable. Someone had been in there before us and had cut out the blowdowns on the Three Brothers Trail. One leaning tree remained and that is now cut out. We weedwhacked from Table Rock towards Mt. Gloriette approximately 1/2 mile, cutting back ferns and saplings but found with increased traffic from the moose and peds, the trail is quite discernable. We'll be setting up another 'work party' soon to complete this section. Trails from Table Rock all the way to Coleman State Park are in great shape thanks to EH, Ray Chaput and the trail angel(s).
