Two College Graduates just rewarded themselves by hiking the whole Cohos Trail end to end. Steve Dilk and Justin Kinney, both from the Syracuse, NY area, encountered snow in 'the Whites', hail in Dixville Notch and some pretty cold nights with a weeks worth of rainy weather. But despite it all, they loved the remoteness of the trail and the magnificent scenery. They didn't have to ward off swarms of blackflies and the grasses weren't up to their eyeballs. Ridgerunner and I had the pleasure of meeting with them - They visited the Mountain Bungalow and took in the awesome views from the top of Prospect Mountain where the proposed trail runs and they took pictures of Covell Mountain, our next-peak destination. When they get settled back into the daily grind of life, I'm sure they'll post an account of their trip.
