Last week, we counted a party of eight on the Old Summer Club Trail.
Six people were spotted climbing South Percy.
Four adults and one infact made their way down the Percy Loop.
Two folks were spotted on the connector between Dixville Peak and the top of the Balsams Wilderness ski area. Speaking of that, that connector has been ditched a bit to improve drainage and quite a bit of clipping was done. It was blazed, as well, and a lean-to site identified.
Fourteen young people and their counselors start a trek from the Percy Peaks through to Dixville Notch shortly. They are an outdoor adventure group associated with Camp Glen Brook of Marlborough, NH.
Two more thru-hikes just completed the trek the other day, south to north.
