Got word that the new footbridge at Big Brook was pushed 20 feet downstream by the recent severe flooding in the Pittsburg area.
That means the volume of water was such that it was able to inch the heavy steel truss downsteam over the course of a few days. Whew!
It will take quite an effort to winch that steel truss upriver and reset it. We'll have to develop footings that can lift the animal an other foot higher or more to prevent this from happening again in the future.
