Imagine hiking from the coast of Long Island Sound in Connecticut and then trekking six or seven different hiking trail systems -- including the Cohos Trail -- and then moving north, far north, to Mont Megantic, Lac Megantic and on to Quebec City on the old Quebec Central RR railbed. Ferry across the St. Lawrence, then pick up snowmobile trails to Saguenay fiord, then turn due north on those skimachine trails all the way to beautiful Lac St. Jean.
Heck of a hike, that would be. Best part would be stopping in Quebec City to enjoy some of the best food in North America. How about that!
