Space age fabrics make it possible to dabble with new ideas for trail structures, like lean-tos. Could it be possible to create lean-tos, super fast and very cheaply, in remote locations by utilizing fabric covers instead of solid materials...at last in the first year of existence? Here's a somewhat related link that deals with steel canopy structures covered with space age fabrics.
