Just got word that developing a few lean-tos in the 39,600 Nash Stream Forest would be a permissible use. So, in the future, it might be possible to site one, two, or perhaps three lean-tos in the Forest along the Cohos Trail.
If developing two or three lean-tos were possible, then a hiker could move without a tent from the Percy Road entrance to the Forest, just off NH Route 110, all the way to Coleman State Park and be able to stay under a roof each night.
