Lots to report.
The Camp Otter Trail bog bridging, all 800 feet of it, has been finished and the trail should be ready to tramp by September.
The Round Pond Brook Trail is complete and getting traffic now.
The Bald Mt. Trail from Percy Road in Stark to the Rowells Link has been heavily blazed and brushed out. It's a little wet in about 400 feet on the northwest flank of Bald Mt. We will cut a bypass there next year to get people to a little higher ground.
Rowells Link is fully blazed and one new blowdown taken out.
The Jimmy Cole Brook Road (trail) has been blazed.
The Old Summer Club Trail's lower half has been brushed out, clipped and blazed like mad all the way to the first branch stream.
The southern 3/4 mile of the East Side Trail has been brushed out and blazed. Bog bridging has been pulled up out of wet spots and made more passable. The northern end through the grassy alder stretch has been weedwhacked a bit, blazing painted on rocks and the entrance into the woods for 500 feet blazed heavily. The middle mile has yet to be reworked.
The Gadwah Notch Trail has now been completely brushed out and blazed from the Headwaters gate to the Baldhead Lean-to. From the lean-to to Kelsey Notch Road and the Dixville Peak junction, all has been blaze and the numerous blowdowns cut away or made passable rather easily.
All major junctions in the Nash Stream Forest have had lots of new blazing installed so there is no missing a junction.
The proposed Trio Trail to get hikers off two miles of the Nash Stream Road has been flagged.
