We just got word from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation that the Cohos Trail Association has be awarded a $2,500 grant to help us carry out the work of cutting and opening up to 15 miles of new trail in the town of Pittsburg at the top of the state.
These funds will help us complete the Cohos Trail as planned more than a dozen years ago.
We hope to gain additional funds from the New England Grassroots Environmental Fund, from Public Service of New Hampshire, and from the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund this summer and from several other funding groups later in the year.
We are grateful to the NHCF for their support of our effort. All the funds will be used "on-the-ground" as we like to say.
