In October, we'll be spending nearly a week working on projects on the Cohos Trail, including beginning the restoration of Camp Kirk and putting in big puncheon bridge spans across moist soils.
You can help by donating materials or a small amount of funds to the Cohos Trail Association.
We need some 2x4s, 2x6s, 2x8s, tarps, boards of any width and length, and some eight or nine inch galvanized spikes (spiral shank). We could use two good double hung windows of the same dimension, three to four feet in length, and off-white interior oil paint and oil deck paint.
If you have something you could donate, let us know. Email wilshy@worldpath.net or cohos@cohostrail.org. We'll get back to you. Or send a small fortune to: The Cohos Trail Association, 266 Danforth Road, Pittsburg, NH 03592
Thanks 162 miles. Oh, we could use a bottle of wine and a few beers from New England micro-breweries, too. A bottle of homemade hooch would be just thing thing, as well.
