Hi everyone. As of August 18th of this year we are now an official international trail. You can now hike all the way to Mt. Megantic or Mt Gosford in Quebec. You can also continue on to the IAT and go all the way to Newfoundland. We at the Cohos Trail Association are very excited about this. For more information, please get in touch with us. Press conference in Chartierville, PQ l to r: Andre Blais (Sentier Frontaliers), Kim Nilsen (Cohos Trail Association), Dick Anderson (International AT) Ridgerunner

The international Cohos Trail. Sounds very exciting to me. Several locations in the Whites can see Mt Megantic. Now we can walk to Newfoundland. A dream come true!

I was lucky enough to be at the SF trail-link dedication on the 18th. It was quite an event, with an amazing number of Canadian hikers & VIPs there to celebrate the day. All the merriment made me want to come back north sometime to try out their trail -- on a less hot & humid week, of course!
